A cottage to die for...

Recently married, Mark and Vicky Craven decide to give up their lucrative careers and move to rural Wiltshire. 

For them, London is best seen in the rearview mirror. Mark is keen to leave, but Vicky not so - right up until she first sets eyes on the gorgeous cottage Mark has in mind.

Nestling in the beautiful village of Chapel Rise, a few miles outside the sleepy market town of Crammerford, Primrose Cottage certainly is a stunner. Vicky is drawn to it, immediately falling under its spell.

Some of the elderly locals, however, know the cottage is cursed. It's got a hex on it,’ they say, ‘an evil spell’, and ‘some sort of supernatural power’, too.

Of course, the new owners are blissfully unaware of these rumours until two murders occur, both with strong connections to Primrose Cottage.

It is then Mark and Vicky’s lives begin to spin wildly out of control. Being spooked by the murders, they actually accuse each other of being involved.

Enter DCI Jack Horner and his side kick DC Evans, will they be able to solve the mysterious double murder case?
